The Diocese of Manchester is committed to providing
a safe and secure environment for all children and youth.
Below you will find everything you need to qualify for volunteer service with minors in the diocese.
All items listed below should be completed BEFORE you begin your work with minors.

Safe Environment Training & Background Check
Required, please consider completing as soon as possible.
All adult participants of Franklin, NH Catholic Schoolhouse® are required to complete training through Catholic Mutual Group in order to work with minors AND a criminal record check.

Follow this link to complete the training. When you have completed it please send a copy of your completion certificate to FranklinNH@catholicschoolhouse.com.
Instructions
- Complete the volunteer application: Parish Volunteer Application
- Go to https://manchester.cmgconnect.org
- Either “Sign In” or “Register a New Account”
- Fill out Information as Needed – see screenshot below for selections
- Under the heading “Required Trainings” select “Start”
- Complete Training – Watch the video (approx. 1 hour)
Online training is available 24 hours a day and is accessible from any computer. - Download Certificate
- Send completion certificate to FranklinNH@catholicschoolhouse.com
Background/Criminal Record Check
Please print the appropriate forms, complete as instructed, and provide to our director.
- New Hampshire Background check — All adult participants must complete this form. Print, complete and have notarized.
- Massachusetts Background Check — Complete if you live in or have lived in Massachusetts during the past 5 years.
- Choicepoint Background Check — Complete if you live in or have lived in any other states (other than New Hampshire or Massachusetts) during the past 5 years.
